One of the most powerful within Ford’s Super-Duty range, the F-450 pickup truck boasts a maximum towing capacity of 40,000 pounds (20 ton) and 8,000 pound (4 ton) payload rating and can be fitted, along with the F-250 and F-350, with Ford’s exceptional Power Stroke diesel V8. The 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel engine generates up to 500 (372 kW) horsepower and a class-leading 1,200 pound-feet (1,627 Nm) of torque. The engine also features an electric-actuated variable-geometry turbocharger that improves throttle response which helps it achieve a respectable 0-60 mph (100km) in just 5.5 seconds.
